November 04, 2008 Board Meeting Agenda Item #27 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #9029 FOR GROUNDS MAINTENANCE MATERIALS Description Bids to provide 'Grounds Maintenance Materials' were received from four vendors on October 2, 2008.  The bids of Hazeltine Nurseries, Inc., Unlimited Fill, Inc., and Wholesale Landscape Supply, Inc., were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications.  Reasons for not selecting the apparent low bid are included with the bid tabulation.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department.
